Johnson Stokes & Master (JSM), an Asian law firm, and Mayer Brown LLP, a global law firm, agreed to combine as of January 28 2008. The combined firm will be known as Mayer Brown JSM in Asia and as Mayer Brown outside of Asia. Elaine Lo has been appointed Chairman of the Asian Board in Asian offices.
