Main Contents: The expenditure of enterprises on purchase of domestic and foreign advanced technologies and patents shall be entitled to preferential tax policies according to relevant provisions. Government priority purchase policy shall apply to major equipment and products developed by Guangdong enterprises of which they own the intellectual property rights. Enterprises and public institutions are encouraged to progressively establish a new distribution system to encourage inventions and creations by way of various distribution and reward methods, such as equity contribution with intellectual property rights, shareholding by employees, and equity and share options for employees (Article 11, Section Three).
