New Digital Media has made its first investment offshore by acquiring stakes in Bezurk.com, one of the fastest growing online travel aggregators in Asia Pacific. The subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch’s News Limited will represent Bezurk.com for online advertising within Australia, while Bezurk.com will be promoted in the News Digital Media network as well as the News Limited newspapers. The financing will help accelerate Bezurk’s international expansion and strengthen its position in the region. Heller Ehrman advised on the deal.
