Gide Loyrette Nouel was among the sponsors of the inaugural Women’s Forum Asia held in Shanghai on May 15.

Organised by the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, the forum brought together hundreds of participants for three days of debate and exchange on the theme of Growth and Sustainability: How Women are Making a Difference.

Half of Gide’s Asia legal team is made up of women, according to Yan Lan, partner at Gide and vice president of the Women’s Forum Asia. Lan is certain that all the participants have been enriched beyond measure by attending what promises to be one of the conference highlights of the year in China.

Eight other GLN female partners and associates have also participated in the Women’s Forum Asia, including Huang Zhen, Li Hua, Carole Malinvaud, Marianne Rosenberg and Rebecca Silli.
