Supreme People's Court, Provisions on Several Issues Concerning Jurisdiction Over Foreign-related Civil and Commercial Actions

Effective: March 1 2002
Applicability: The Provisions do not apply to foreign-related real property or intellectual property rights cases (Article 4).

Main contents: According to the Provisions, foreign civil commercial cases at first instance are handled by people's courts at or above the intermediate level or people's courts approved to be set up by the State Council in special economic zones
(Article 1).
