Main contents: The Notice allows Hong Kong service providers to set up equity joint ventures in the Mainland from October 1 2003 to provide five types of value-added telecommunications services: internet data centre services; storage and transmission services; paging services; internet access services; and information services (Item One). Hong Kong service providers may not hold more than 50% of the shares in the joint venture (Item Two). There is no geographical restriction on the engagement in the joint venture (Item Three).
