Ministry of Commerce, PRC Administration of International Freight Forwarding Agency Business Provisions Implementing Rules (Revised)

Effective: as of date of promulgation

Main contents: Article 6 of the Implementing Rules is amended to state that shareholders of an international freight forwarding agency may be composed of enterprise legal persons, natural persons or other economic organizations. While the criteria for the large shareholder remain the same, the large shareholder should hold controlling shares. Shareholders other than enterprise legal persons are not allowed to hold controlling shares.
