Ministry of Commerce, Issues Relevant to Registration for the Record of the Foreign Trade Right of Foreign-invested Enterprises Circular

Main contents: The Circular elaborates Article 14 of the Registration for the Record of Foreign Trade Operators Procedures. Foreign-invested enterprises approved to be established in accordance with the law before July 1 2004 that have not applied for a change in the business scope to include other import and export business activities, and foreign-invested enterprises approved to be established in accordance with the law on or after July 1 2004 that are engaged in import and export trading of goods or technologies that are for their own use or produced by themselves, are not required to separately carry out the procedures for registration for the record of foreign trade operators (Item One). The Circular details the procedures for such registration when it is required under circumstances other than the aforementioned two conditions.
