Main contents: Starting from January 1 2005, service suppliers from Hong Kong and Macao are permitted to build, restructure and operate cinemas in the form of equity or cooperative joint ventures, or wholly owned enterprises (Section One). Other provisions on service suppliers from Hong Kong and Macao investing in cinemas on the mainland shall refer to the Foreign Investment in Cinemas Tentative Provisions (Section Three).
