State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, Circular on Matters Relevant to the Implementation of the «Tentative Provisions for the Administration of Sino-foreign Equity and Cooperative Joint Ventures that Produce and Distribute Radio and Television Programmes»

Main contents: The Circular prohibits domestic radio and television stations from establishing Sino-foreign equity or cooperative joint ventures that produce and distribute radio and television programmes (Joint Ventures) with foreign organizations (Item Two(1)). Joint Ventures may not participate in the operation of the frequencies and channels of domestic radio and television stations (Item Three(3)).
