Interpreting authority: China National Tourism Administration in conjunction with Ministry of Commerce
Main contents: The Supplementary Provisions lower the criteria for Hong Kong and Macao service providers to enter the mainland market: the annual trade volume in tourism of Hong Kong and Macao service providers establishing wholly-owned travel agencies and equity joint venture travel agencies in the mainland shall be at least US$25 million and US$12 million respectively (Article 1).
