Main contents: Administrations for industry and commerce may stop the advertising business of advertisers, advertising operators and advertising disseminators under one of the following circumstances:
(1) the use of advertisements to create false publicity for a commodity or service, with illegal income of Rmb50,000 or more;
(2) the use of advertisements to create false publicity for a commodity or service, thereby causing direct economic loss to consumers of Rmb200,000 or more; or
(3) the use of advertisements to create false publicity for a commodity or service, thereby causing serious consequences such as personal injury or loss of property (Article 2).
