The requirement on the number of full-time lawyers employed by Mainland law firms that operate in association with Hong Kong or Macao law firms is waived.

Effective: January 1 2007

Main Contents: The revised Measures no longer require mainland law firms applying to form associations with Hong Kong or Macao law firms to have at least 20 full-time lawyers (Article 6).
