Hong Kong once again has proved its popularity as a springboard for legal business in China with the opening of the newest office of Duan and Duan, a Chinese law firm with offices in Shanghai, Beijing, the US, and now the HKSAR.

Founder and Managing Partner Charles Duan Qi-hua tells China Law & Practice that the new office will enable the firm to better serve its international and Hong Kong clients, as well as provide better services for its China-based clients. "Hong Kong is the ideal base to set up operations. The city provides a platform for the international community to gain access to opportunities in China. Equally, Chinese companies are able to use Hong Kong to launch themselves globally," he said.
