    DLA Piper has brought corporate, securities and M&A expert Jeff Greene to the firm's Shanghai office. Other recent lateral hires for the firm include Stephen Peepels and Gene Buttrill, who have joined the firm's corporate and securities practice group as partners. Also joining DLA Piper in China are Stephen Peepels from Jones Day, who will head the US capital markets practice in Asia, and corporate finance partner Gene Buttrill from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
