Main Contents: The Circular states that companies that issue foreign investment shares listed in China are no longer required to carry out an overseas audit at the same time when an audit is conducted by a local accounting firm with the relevant securities and futures business qualifications.
Repealed Legislation: Provisions on the requirement of overseas audit of companies that issue foreign investment shares listed in China in Article 87 of the Guidelines on Contents and Formats for Information Disclosures by Companies That Offer Securities to the Public (No. 1): Prospectuses (2006 Revision) and Article 9 of the Guidelines on Contents and Formats for Information Disclosures by Companies That Offer Securities to the Public (No. 2): Contents and Format of Annual Reports (2005 Revision)
