Effective: February 1 2008
Applicability: Water distribution refers to the level-by-level distribution of the total quantity of usable water resources or quantity of distributable water to administrative areas to determine the consumable water volume for the living and production needs of the administrative areas or the volume of water withdrawn (Article 2).
Main Contents: To satisfy the water demand for future development and for major development strategies of the state, the authority that formulates water distribution plans may, according to the water conditions of the drainage area or administrative region, reserve a certain quantity of water through consultation with the people's government of the relevant administrative area (Article 8).
