Weight Watchers International, Inc. and Groupe DANONE announced the signing of a joint venture agreement to establish a weight management business in the PRC. The leading weight management services provider will own 51% of the joint venture, while Groupe DANONE will own 49%. The joint venture is expected to commence retail operations in the PRC within the next year. Baker & McKenzie advised Groupe DANONE S.A. on the deal.
