The Ministry of Justice issued two new rules regarding the administration of law firms and the practice of lawyers in the mainland. Both took effect on July 18.
The Measures for the Administration of the Practice of Lawyers aims to further explain the requirements for those who want to practice law in the mainland, while the Measures for the Administration of Law Firms aims to clarify the requirements for the establishment of law firms in the PRC.
