NPC passes law to protect employment of disabled persons.

Main Contents: The state arranges employment of disabled persons according to proportion. State authorities, social groups, enterprises, public institutions and private non-enterprise work units shall arrange employment of disabled persons according to the stipulated proportion and select the suitable jobs and positions for them. Where it is unable to meet the stipulated proportion, it shall perform the obligations of employing disabled persons in accordance with relevant state provisions (Article 33).
