The General Administration of Customs of China (GAC) is seeking comment on the draft amendments to the Implementing Measures for the «PRC Regulations for Customs Protection of Intellectual Property Rights» (关于《中华人民共和国知识产权海关保护条例》的实施办法) (Draft Amendments). These are expected to take effect on January 1 2009, though they may be amended further before final promulgation. They promise some positive developments that will be welcomed by IP holders.
