Allen & Overy has promoted Joseph Tse to the role of senior partner for Greater China. Tse will divide his time between Hong Kong and Beijing and work closely with Simon Black, the firm's Mainland China managing partner.
Meanwhile, Herbert Smith has appointed Andrew Tortoishell as its Greater China managing partner. He will be responsible for overseeing the firm's Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai offices, and will report to Ashley Alder, head of Asia.
