Opportunity to negotiate lower outsourcing rates

The government has announced a range of measures to help China become a preferred destination for companies wishing to outsource their business operations. The Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom) plans to issue formal regulations soon.

From 2009 until the end of 2013, 20 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Nanjing and Hangzhou, will be involved in a pilot scheme to provide benefits for outsourcing providers and their supporting businesses – logistics and advertising companies, for example.
