Linklaters' Asia managing partner, Giles White, is to leave the firm at the end of April 2009. He will move to Jardine Matheson, a long-time client of the firm, where he will take up the role of group general counsel.
White has served with the firm for 21 years, and was made Asia managing partner in 2007. He is qualified as an attorney in South Africa and a solicitor of England and Wales. He is experienced in international finance work, including banking and structured finance.
