Linklaters has appointed Zili Shao as Asia managing partner. He replaces Giles White who has joined Jardine Matheson as group general counsel.
Shao, who specialises in PRC-related M&A, corporate restructuring and direct investments, has acted as Linklaters' Greater China managing partner since 2003. He led the firm's China practice for five years before that and set up its Shanghai office in 1998 and its Beijing office in 2001.
