China's leading game developer and operator NetEase has teamed up with Blizzard Entertainment to operate its massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft in China.
Beijing-based NetEase.com, which is listed on Nasdaq, signed a licensing deal with Blizzard that sees it assume operation of the game for a term of three years once Blizzard's deal with rival online game operator The9 expires.
