Arbitration law needs revision, says Commission

China must revise its arbitration law to keep up with developments in technology and the needs of online arbitration, a representative from the country's leading arbitration institution said last week.
During a keynote address at the ADNDRC Conference 2009 in Hong Kong on May 22, vice-chairman and secretary-general of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Cietac), Yu Jianlong, said the 1994 PRC Arbitration Law needed to be updated.
