    Linklaters has announced that its Asia managing partner, Zili Shao, will leave the firm to become chairman and CEO of JP Morgan's China businesses. The move will take place at the end of January 2010.

    The new position will give Shao responsibility for all of the bank's operations in China, and will see him divide his time between the Hong Kong and Beijing offices.
