Three partners from two international firms will assist in the set-up of Jun He Law Office's new Silicon Valley venture. The Beijing and Shanghai managing partners of Perkins Coie, IP specialists James Zhu and Zoe Wang respectively, and IP counsel Steven Cui from Jones Day's Beijing office are all US-qualified and registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Jun He is finalising its Silicon Valley office licence application and expects the approval to go through by mid-June 2010. An official launch date for the new office has not been set.
