New business law boutique R&P China Lawyers has opened its doors to provide counsel to mid-sized foreign companies and the Chinese subsidiaries of multinationals. The four principals forming the core leadership of the firm were formerly at some of the largest domestic outfits.
Maarten Roos joins from Wang Jing & Co. He specialises in foreign direct investment, intellectual property protection and dispute resolution. Employment lawyer Luo Ai comes from Jun He Law Offices, commercial and intellectual property specialist Zhu Ye joins from Lehman Lee & Xu, and dispute resolution specialist Lu Zhiqian joins from Shanghai Talent Law Firm. The firm is based in Shanghai.
