    Australia-based firm Minter Ellison has opened up a new office in Beijing. Complementing its Shanghai and Hong Kong offices, the Beijing post will be helmed by Asia infrastructure and projects head Sam Farrands as initial chief representative. He will be supported by practitioners Tim Knowles, Andrew Thomson and Kevin Zhou. In Beijing, the firm's initial key focus will be to work on outbound M&As, and inbound and outbound investments.
