Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati has hired corporate and securities partner Weiheng Chen to co-head its China practice. Chen, together with co-head Carmen Chang, will establish a Hong Kong office for the firm in the near future.
Chen was previously an Asian counsel at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy's Hong Kong and Beijing offices. He has long-standing experience in the China market, having worked with clients like China Huaneng Group, State Grid International Development, Bank of China, Sequoia Capital China and Warburg Pincus Asia.
