JinkoSolar Holding has made a follow-on offering of 3.5 million American depositary shares (ADSs) on the New York Stock Exchange at a price of US$36 per ADS. JinkoSolar is a solar power product manufacturer with low-cost operations in the PRC.
Of these ADSs, 2 million were sold by JinkoSolar and 1.5 million were sold by selling shareholders. Credit Suisse Securities, William Blair & Company, Roth Capital Partners and Collins Stewart acted as the underwriters.
Baker & McKenzie was US counsel to JinkoSolar. Greg Knowles led a Maples and Calder team from Hong Kong to advise the issuer on offshore law. The underwriters were counseled by Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
