IP specialist Horace Lam has joined the Beijing office of Jones Day. He was formerly Hogan Lovells' local managing partner and head of its China IP practice.
Lam practices across all IP areas, doing contentious and non-contentious patent, trademark and copyright work. His clients include multinationals enforcing their IP rights in Asia and he has worked on numerous IP disputes in China and Hong Kong. One particular area of focus for Lam's practice is the antitrust aspects of IP.
Lam is a member of the Hong Kong and Australian bars, and is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
