Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia has invested US$50 million into Yongye International. Yongye is a Beijing-headquartered developer and distributor of Shengmingsu brand plant and animal nutrient products in the PRC.
Representing Yongye on PRC law and US law were Han Kun Law Offices and Loeb & Loeb, respectively. Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia was advised by Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison as to US law aspects, and by Haiwen & Partners as to PRC law aspects.
