Capgemini Asia Pacific has acquired PRC-based IT developer and services provider, Praxis (Beijing) Technology (Praxis).
Capgemini will acquire 100% of the shares in Praxis and closing of this deal is subject to relevant regulatory approvals and licences. This is Capgemini's first acquisition of a China-based company and was a strategic purchase. The target is a mid-sized technology company with a core business in utilities and SAP solutions.
A Beijing-based Gide Loyrette Nouel team, led by Thomas Urlacher, advised Capgemini. Praxis was represented by Chester China.
