Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton has opened a Beijing office. Corporate and commercial specialist James Zimmerman will lead the new practice, and joining him is special counsel Sharon Xu. Both Zimmerman and Xu were laterals from Squire Sanders & Dempsey in Beijing. The new office's practice will focus on corporate, commercial and tax-based transactional matters.
In addition to the new hires, Sheppard Mullin partner Jenny Liu and associate Carrie Bai have relocated from the firm's Shanghai office to Beijing.
