    Detailed rules expected to be released by securities authority

    Foreign investors should keep a close eye on legal updates from both Hong Kong and mainland regulators as they soon may be able to access China's capital markets with investments in Renminbi (Rmb).

    Hong Kong investors will be allowed to purchase Rmb-denominated securities in the Mainland under the Rmb-qualified foreign institutional investor (RQFII) scheme, China's Vice-Premier Li Keqiang announced during his visit to Hong Kong last week.
