    China Citic Bank Corporation has raised US$4 billion from its A+H share rights issue. This transaction was completed during challenging market conditions.

    The joint H-share underwriters were China International Capital Corp (CICC) and Citic Securities.

    Advising the issuer were Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer on Hong Kong and US law, and King & Wood on PRC law. The underwriters were represented as to US law aspects by a Morrison & Foerster team led by Charles Lau, and to PRC law aspects by Commerce & Finance Law Offices.
