Wang Jing & Co has hired shipping and insurance specialist Song Dihuang from Commerce & Finance Law Offices, where he was a partner. He will be a partner of Wang Jing & Co officially on October 1 2011 and practice in Beijing and Shenzhen.
Song holds posts as an arbitrator of the China Maritime Arbitration Commission, an arbitrator of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the deputy secretary-general and executive director of the China Maritime Law Association, and an executive director of the Maritime International committee, among others.
He holds nearly three decades' worth of experience in dealing with matters relating to bills of lading, charter parties, marine insurance, litigation and arbitration in China and overseas, the arrest of ship/cargo, handling collisions and international trade.
