China elaborates on the prohibition of excessive packaging.

Main contents: The revised Law explains the meaning in the old Law of the provision that the packaging of products that enterprises provide shall be “reasonable”. The material, structure and cost of packaging shall be consistent with the quality, specifications and cost of the product inside. Packaging waste shall be reduced and excessive packaging shall be eliminated (Article 20).
