Freshfields and Fangda triumph at CLP awards

clpstaffFreshfields and Fangda won the coveted international and domestic law firms of the year at the CLP awards ceremony held in Beijing last week
Over 200 leading legal practitioners attended the seventh annual China Law & Practice Awards. For the first time, CLP honoured individual lawyers and included new categories such as insurance, life sciences and trade firms of the year.
King & Wood Mallesons performed strongly, working on four of the winning deals, while partner Susan Ning picked up the individual award for competition. Allen & Overy won two deals, picked up the banking and finance team of the year trophy and saw partner Richard Kim win the real estate and construction individual award.
