The Regulations expand the scope of arbitration awards from Taiwan the recognition and enforcement of which may be applied for, specify the review period and the internal reporting procedure for the recognition of arbitration awards from Taiwan, set forth the grounds for denying the recognition of arbitration awards and add means of seeking relief after a denial of recognition.

The Provisions expand the scope of civil judgments from Taiwan courts the recognition and enforcement of which may be applied for, expand jurisdictional connection for these types of cases, relax the conditions for the acceptance of such cases and specify the acceptance priority principle in the people's court procedures.
