PBOC allows foreign central banks to access the Chinese interbank foreign exchange market

With a view to promoting the opening of China's foreign exchange market to foreign investors and facilitating the lawful and compliant participation of foreign central banks (monetary authorities) and other official reserve management institutions, international financial organizations and sovereign wealth funds (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Foreign Central Banking Institutions") in the trading of the Chinese interbank foreign exchange market, we hereby notify you of matters relevant to opening access to the Chinese interbank foreign exchange market to Foreign Central Banking Institutions as follows:
为推动中国外汇市场对外开放，便利境外央行（货币当局）和其他官方储备管理机构、国际金融组织、主权财富基金（以下统称境外央行类机构）依法合规参与中国银行间外汇市场交易，现就开放境外央行类机构进入中国银行间外汇市场有关事宜公告如下：
