VIE structure is clarified and recognized in human genetic resources projects

Issued: March 21, 2022

Applicability: The term "foreign entity" means an overseas (here and hereafter, meaning outside of mainland China) organization or an establishment established or actually controlled by an overseas organization or individual.

Actual control as stated above includes the following:

(1) an overseas organization or individual holding or indirectly holding at least 50% of the shares, equity, voting
