European Union introduces Forced Labor Regulation



The European Union (EU) has cleared the final step required to enact the Forced Labor Regulation (FLR), which is aimed at all instances of forced labor globally, according to an EU press release

Under the FLR, there is a ban on “placing and making available on the Union market, or the export from the Union market, of any product made using forced labor.”
