DeepSeek AI Faces Bans by Some Governments



Australia, Italy and Taiwan have banned access to China’s DeepSeek AI while other countries are investigating the company amid its meteoric rise in popularity.

On February 4, the Australian government issued a statement requiring “all government entities to prevent the access, use or installation of DeepSeek products, applications and web services on Australian government systems and mobile devices,” according to the Wall Street Journal.
