PRC Regulations for Commercial Mediation (Public Draft for Comments)

Applicability: For the purposes of these Regulations, the term “commercial mediation” means the activity wherein parties seek, of their own free will, to resolve a commercial dispute in such a field as trade, investment, finance, transport, real estate, project construction, intellectual property, etc. through amicable negotiations under the auspices of a commercial mediation organization. Commercial mediation shall not apply in disputes involving marriage and family, succession, guardianship, household consumption, etc., as well as other disputes that are required by law to be resolved by other means.
