Applicability: The artificial intelligence technology activities referred to herein are technology activities, such as scientific research, technological development, etc. that involve artificial intelligence, conducted in the People’s Republic of China and that may pose ethical risks and challenges in such areas as life and health, human dignity, ecological environment, public order, sustainable development, etc. as well as other technology activities that require the conduct of artificial intelligence technology ethics reviews in accordance with laws, administrative regulations and relevant state provisions (Article 2).
