China Reviews Manus’ Proposed Acquisition by Meta

Chinese regulators are reviewing Meta Platforms' proposed $2 billion acquisition of Chinese-founded, Singapore-based AI startup Manus.

The Ministry of Commerce’s review will investigate whether the deal contravenes China’s export control, technology transfer and foreign investment restrictions.
